Youth & Education
Info
Youth & Education content
Attending Adelaide Festival’s program of world-class performances and exhibitions opens up opportunities for students to develop as active and interrogative theatregoers and cultural critics and consider new perspectives on the world in which they live. This shared experience between teachers and students is a powerful way to inspire critical debate on big ideas, important global themes and motivate creative practice.

Create4Adelaide
Launching in 2023, Create4Adelaide is a large-scale, year-long project that encourages young people to develop their creative skills and engage with local climate change priorities. The project culminates in digital and physical exhibitions that will be presented as part of the 2024 Adelaide Festival.
FESTIVAL CONNECT
Festival Connect is our inclusive equity program to cover the cost of transport to Festival performances. The program also subsidises both transport and accommodation for remote and regional schools.
Festival Connect aims to support for category 1-4 DFE schools and CE equivalent, but will also consider other school groups facing constraints when seeking to bring students to performances.
This initiative is made possible with the philanthropic support of James and Diana Ramsay Foundation, our Festival Connect donors and the sponsorship support of SA Power Networks.
To apply for Festival Connect funding, or to find out more, please email Julie Orchard at jorchard@adelaidefestival.com.au
