FAQs for Lost Dogs' Disco content

Lost Dogs' Disco is a free, family friendly outdoor event in Keith Stephenson Park, Mount Barker.

Lost Dogs’ Disco features 16 massive interactive structures, with sound and lighting that interact with people’s movements within the activation. There is no water element in this year's installation, so no need to worry about clothes getting wet.

Lost Dogs' Disco will go ahead rain or shine. However, in the case of predicted severe weather or high winds, Lost Dogs' Disco will be closed to the public. Stay across our website and social media for any updates on opening times and closures.

Access

Do I need to buy tickets on site?
Lost Dogs' Disco is a free event and is not ticketed. Registrations are not required. 

When is Lost Dogs Disco open?
Lost Dogs' Disco will be open daily from 8 - 13 Mar, 2023. Dates and times are:
💚 Wed 8 Mar, 10am - 9pm
🐶 Thu 9 Mar, 10am - 9pm
💚 Fri 10 Mar, 10am - 10pm
🐶 Sat 11 Mar, 10am - 10pm
💚 Sun 12 Mar, 10am - 10pm
🐶 Mon 13 Mar, 10am - 9pm

Where can I enter Lost Dogs' Disco?
Lost Dogs' Disco doesn’t have a main entry point and can be accessed via Keith Stevenson Park. Lost Dogs' Disco is located near the lake at the northern end of the park.

Where can I park? 
There is parking available in Keith Stephenson Park near the southern end of the park. There is overflow parking available in the empty lot behind the car park.

Is the site wheelchair accessible?
There are bitumen footpaths in close proximity. However, please note Lost Dogs' Disco is on grass and may be uneven and difficult to get a wheelchair up close to the structures.

Can I bring my dog/s?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your dog/s.

Facilities

Are toilets available on site?
The public toilets in Keith Stephenson Park are located 50 metres north of Lost Dogs' Disco and will be open during operating hours.

Is there any catering/food/drinks?
There will be local food trucks on site however operational times and vendors may vary. Reusable water bottles are permitted but strictly no glass please! There will be a water refill station on site. 

Is there shade on site?
There is limited shade in Keith Stephenson Park. Adelaide Festival recommends you slip, slop, slap and bring extra sunscreen with you. 

Is there an ATM on site?
There are no ATMs in Keith Stephenson Park

Cycling & Public Transport

Will there be somewhere to lock my bike?
Yes, we love to encourage cycling to events. There are several places to lock and store your bike near Lost Dogs' Disco.

What public transport stops are the closest to the venue?
Bus: Stop School Mt Barker High Wellington Rd or Stop 68 Exhibition Rd - West side are the closest to Lost Dogs’ Disco.
